    TECHNICAL REHEARSALS.
    Groups will be given a two hour rehearsal period prior to the week of performance. The rehearsals will be held on weeknights from 6.30 to 8.30 pm, and 8.30 to 10.30 pm.

    Groups may give 2 preferences (in order of priority) so that a technical roster can be created. Although every consideration will be given to first preference, this cannot be guaranteed. Groups travelling from a far will be given preference for late weekday slots. Please note that rehearsal period is determined by number of Festival Entries and can be adjusted if necessary. Entrants will be informed of this in good time

    FESTIVAL RUNNING ORDER

    Order of the entries for each individual night will be determined by the Festival Committee. However the entertainment merit (balancing drama, comedy, musical, or social entries) will be taken into consideration. Groups travelling long distances to the venue will be given every consideration. Rules covering Entrants to our Festival stipulates that all participants must report to Stage manager one hour BEFORE THE FESTIVAL COMMENCES

    FOYER DISPLAY

    There will be an Award for “Best Foyer Display”. Participating groups will be given space in the foyer. Originality and imagination can be used to the fullest extent in an attempt to convince patrons that “They are the best in South Africa”.

    This Dossier must be returned to SANCTA together with entry and Membership fees, scripts/synopsis to qualify for admission in our Annual One Act Play Festival by 10th January 2008
